About Us Townsville Warriors are a local community football  club that have been around since 1966. Warriors play an important role in providing local children and children from within our region, with the option to play and enjoy the sport. Townsville Warriors play in the local competition from ages 6yrs up to senior teams. The Club prides itself in the work it does each year and its contribution to the health and happiness of young . The Club philosophy is to offer Football via normal club activities and introduce football by way of additional community programs to the children and youth of the region. Townsville warriors supports club coaches who have priorities that foremost include;  ▪ young players enjoying the game,  ▪ young players viewing their time in our programs as a positive experience, encouraging young players so they want to return to play the game. The Club will provide a pathway for children, young adults and adults who wish to participate and socialize via our “Community Football” and “Warriors Development” programs. Gareth Edds is our volunteer Junior Director of Coaching who has a directive to deliver education programs to assist Club coaches of “grass roots” players Townsville Warriors Community FC Small Sided Football (SSF’s) Players turning 6 to 11 years of age can sign up to train and play real football in a modified version of the game.
